Dashboard Confessional treated fans to a new EP of covers called Covered and Taped featuring songs by Justin Bieber, The 1975 and others.
The four-song collection emotional, acoustic covers of Bieber's "Love Yourself," the 1975's "Sex," Julien Baker's "Sprained Ankle" and Sorority Noise's "Using."
On Bieber's "Love Yourself," Chris Carrabba tacks on more than an extra minute to the Purpose track, ditching the original's down-tempo groove for intimate guitar picking and a delivery that's fully, well, confessional.
